The Mission
The mission of Calvary Chapel Johnson County is found in Ephesians 4:12-15 which says for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ—
The Vision
The vision of Calvary Chapel Johnson County is simply said to have the most well fed and loved congregation in all of the world. To see believers given all they need through His Word to effectively minister to the world around them. To equip the kids with God's Word, to introduce them to the Savior, to see them grow in their faith even from a young age.
As the church is properly fed and cared for we believe that the natural byproduct is that the world will be reached, that communities will be effected and souls will come to salvation.
